In 1982, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Qi Yuanxi met with Mr. Kimko Jiro, Vice President of the Sino-Japanese Friendship Association and President of the Osaka-China Friendship Association. To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China—the gathering party of Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries was held in the Auditorium of the Municipal Government.
