Shanghai Cable Research Institute, Shanghai Cable Factory and Shenyang Cable Factory jointly developed the technology of 500,000 volt ultra-high pressure oil-filled power cable, and put it into trial operation on the 500,000 volt experimental transmission line of Liaojing in northwest China. This technology was still undeveloped in China.
