Heron is a typical wading bird that likes to forage in shallow water such as rivers, lakes, ponds and paddy fields. Its long neck, pointed mouth and slender legs are compatible with this way of foraging. Herons are used to nesting on tree crowns and like to live in groups. This program focuses on how herons breed offspring and how small herons survive.
